I haven't written for myself in months. I have been bogged down with loss which I haven't had the strength to write about.
Writing has always been a way for me to process my life, but recently I have been drained by school, post traumatic stress disorder, cooking, cleaning my fishtanks, and wandering the endless aisles of meijer. I can't write about all this yet, so instead, I'm going to be writing about all the good things in my life.
I have moved into a studio appartment, I have adopted a boy cat named Buba, I have published a research article. I learn Tai Chi, watch anime, frequent different locally owned grociery stores, and resteraunts, and coffee shops.
The writing I put forth probably won't be polished, but it will be here, and maybe I'll get better. It's important to work through loss, but I'm learning that I don't have to unpack it all at once. I can celebrate the good things. It's been a while since I've written about the good things.
